Mercedes-Benz offers the 2020 GLE in two non-AMG trims, the GLE 350 and GLE 450. The key differentiating factor between the two is their powertrain, with the GLE 350 powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder developing 255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, while the GLE 450 mates a mild-hybrid 48-volt electrical system to a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder developing 362 hp and 369 lb-ft. Both models make use of a nine-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive.
Both trims are equally well-equipped as standard with 19-inch alloys, keyless entry, LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, a power hands-free tailgate, adaptive dampers, and a power sunroof, while convenience features include automated parking, navigation, and the intuitive MBUX infotainment system with a 12.3-inch display and full Android Auto/Apple CarPlay compatibility. Both can also be equipped with a range of driver aids, added comfort, and technological features through a range of options packages.
