The Hybrid system combines a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine with an electric motor to produce total outputs of 469 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The battery boasts an impressive charging time of around 90 minutes.
The already generous specification of the S 560e gets a boost for the 2020 model year with the Active Parking Assist Package now standard, along with Keyless-Go and Hands-Free Access. Inside, the latest COMAND infotainment system is linked to a 12.3-inch high-resolution center display. Nappa leather upholstery, ambient lighting, an LED intelligent lighting system, a power glass sunroof, and 16-way power seats are all standard. Several available packages can be optioned, with many focused on even more luxurious rear seating. There is also an available AMG Line Exterior Package to give the S 560e a more dynamic look, with striking 20-inch wheels forming part of this upgrade.
