It’s nearly time for the Mercedes-Benz SLC-Class to bow out, with 2020 slated to be this model’s final production year. The SLC300 uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 241 hp and 273 lb-ft, allied to a nine-speed automatic transmission. A rear-wheel drivetrain is standard.
The standard SLC300 ships with a retractable hardtop, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a panorama roof. Several styling packages are available, adding bigger wheels and AMG-inspired design elements. In the cabin, both the driver and passenger have power-adjustable seats with memory settings, upholstered in MB-Tex. A seven-inch color screen handles infotainment functions like Bluetooth and HD Radio, while Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are optionally available. Further features include air conditioning, a rearview camera, a four-way power steering column, eight airbags, and an electric trunk partition.
The SLC300 Final Edition package is set apart with its Selenite Grey paintwork, 18-inch alloy wheels with a gloss-black finish, Airscarf neck-heating system, heated seats, and carbon leather interior appointments.
