The MINI Cooper Clubman S and the John Cooper Works are really good cars in every respect. They can be tailored to suit any tastes as far as aesthetics go, and there are more than enough options available to enhance the driving experience. The 2.0-liter engine is twin-turbocharged with power rated at 189 hp, but that same setup in John Cooper Works trim sees power rise to 228 hp, which combined with the fast-changing 8-speed automatic transmission makes for an exiting drive with handling that inspires confidence. The base price for the Clubman Cooper S is $28,450, which is really not bad, but with so many options available you need to choose carefully or the price will start to hurt. Of course with the Clubman John Cooper Works starting at $35,900 many of the systems have already been optimized, and so that higher price tag ends up making a lot more sense.
