The Cooper Electric Hardtop is driven by an electric motor paired with a 32.6-kWh battery pack. Outputs are 181 hp and 199 lb-ft, which is sent to the front wheels via a single-speed automatic transmission.
The base model features a heated steering wheel and front seats, keyless entry, climate control, and safety features such as lane departure warning, a rearview camera, auto emergency braking, and rear parking sensors. Moving up through the subtrims adds goodies such as a panoramic moonroof, power-folding exterior mirrors, front parking sensors, parking assist, and active cruise control. LED headlights are standard. An 8.8-inch touchscreen display houses the infotainment system, which is imbued with Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth streaming, and HD radio.
The special Resolute Edition comes with model-specific exterior paintwork, gold stripes and bronze wheels, as well as a unique interior.
The Signature sub-trim is offered with a driver assistance package that adds active cruise control, a head-up display, and a parking assistant for $750. The Touchscreen Nav package is a $1,700 option and includes features such as advanced real-time traffic information, concierge services, remote services, MINI Navigation, MINI connected XL, and wireless charging.
