The John Cooper Works Clubman seems to be going in several different directions at the same time. It is the performance version of the stretched wagon version of a small city car. Trying to get one car to fill so many roles typically does not end well, but with the JCW Clubman, it somehow all balances out. It has most of the advantages of the Cooper, but with more power and room for your friends. The only problem is the price. Since this is a faster version of the Clubman, it will presumably be aimed at enthusiasts, and they will surely notice that there are other, faster cars which could be had for this much money.
