Mitsubishi has confirmed a completely redesigned Outlander will debut sometime in 2021. An official reveal date is not yet available. What we do know is that the new Outlander will share a platform with the also all-new Nissan Rogue. It's possible the Outlander could utilize the Rogue's engine as well.
While it may share a platform with its Nissan stablemate, the new Outlander will have its own unique exterior and interior design sporting the Japanese automaker's latest design language. It's also important not to mistaken the 2021 Outlander for the Outlander Plug-In Hybrid; they will likely remain separate models at first.
Expect the 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander to come standard with front-wheel-drive and optional all-wheel-drive.
