The base Pathfinder gives you the basic amenities, including an impressive array of standard driver assistance features, such as forward-collision warning, front and rear automatic braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, driver-alert monitoring, rear parking sensors, and rear cross-traffic alert. In addition to that, it also has 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights, keyless entry, eight seats, cloth upholstery, a manually tilting/telescoping steering column, a 12-volt DC power outlet, and tri-zone climate control. It doesn’t have navigation or anything fancy like that, but the infotainment system has an eight-inch touchscreen, SiriusXM, four USB ports, and is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible, which means you can navigate using third-party apps. It's connected to a six-speaker audio system that supports Bluetooth streaming. If you’re on a budget, this model will do just fine. It doesn’t feel rental-spec, which is the crucial thing.
