The Sentra Nismo is the top-spec model in the range and comes equipped with a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine which produces 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through either a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic gearbox with a manual-shift mode.
Performance is strong and the Nismo trim means you get unique components like the 18-inch wheels and Nismo-branded grille and interior package which includes sport front seats and carbon-fiber accents. You also get upgraded front brakes, sunroof and a sport-tuned suspension although some of these items are standard on the SR Turbo trim too, the only other model to get the more powerful engine in the Sentra range. It may not be a four-door GT-R but the Sentra Nismo adds a touch of sportiness to the range and with prices starting at $25,940, it offers good value too.
