Looking the part of a heavy-duty truck, the Titan XD is bulky in every sense of the word. The front grille is simply enormous, and the hood sports a removable aero spoiler. Blocky halogen headlights are installed as standard, with LED variants available on higher trims. Wheels sizes vary from 17 to 20 inches depending on trim, although the smaller sizes tend to look disproportionate. A choice of three body options is available: the eight-foot bed Single Cab, the 6.5-foot bed King Cab, and Crew Cab sporting a 6.5-ft bed at the back. Power heated exterior mirrors are equipped to all but the S trim, with a manual extension function for towing. All models feature overhead LED cargo bed lights.
While it may not be as powerful as rivals, the Titan XD is certainly as large, if not larger, than most. Length varies from 231 to 242.7 inches from single cab to crew cab guise. Similarly, wheelbase can be between 139.8 and 151.6 inches. Width is a standard 79.5 inches, except for the Pro-4X, which is wider at 80.7 inches. Standing anywhere between 77.2 and 78.9 inches tall, depending on trim and drivetrain choices, the Titan XD can manage a payload of anything from 1,920 lbs to 2,990 lbs, depending on engine configuration and whether it is 4x4 enabled or not. The truck can be as light at 5,901 lbs in its King Bed S guise, and as heavy as 7,470 lbs in its Crew Cab Platinum Reserve guise. Weight will depend on body style, engine choice, drivetrain choice, and features equipped.

The standard color palette for the base S trim comprises Glacier White, Brilliant Silver Metallic, Gun Metallic, Cayenne Red Metallic, and Magnetic Black Pearl. Added for the SV trim is Java Metallic and Deep Blue Pearl. 2019's new additions include Midnight Pine Metallic for the Pro-4X and up, and Moab Sunset Metallic for the Pro-4X only. For an additional $375, Pearl White Tricoat can be applied to the Pro-4X and up. The striking Forged Copper Metallic hue is exclusive to the Platinum Reserve, but it won't cost you extra.
