The Carrera 4 has the same outputs as the base Carrera but adds the all-wheel-drive system to the mix, providing added control in slippery conditions or colder climates. Acceleration figures remain the same although the top speed is 2 mph lower, not that this matters. What is more valuable is that the Carrera 4 opens access to the Sport Package which adds the Sport Chrono Package, a sport exhaust system, and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, further improving on the 911’s already sparkling dynamics. The AWD system comes with a 106-pound weight penalty and its gas tank is 0.7 gallons larger than that of the RWD Carrera.
