The next Porsche 911 GT3 RS is expected sometime for the 2023 model year. As the more extreme track-focused version of the already quite potent all-new 911 GT3, the 992 generation GT3 RS is expected to come powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six with at least 502 horsepower and 346 lb-ft of torque. The six-speed manual offered in the GT3 is not expected to be used here. Instead, the seven-speed PDK dual-clutch will probably be the sole option.
What's clear, however, is that the GT3 RS will come with a massive rear wing, a more aggressive aerodynamics package, underbody flaps, more powerful brakes, and a stiffened chassis. Unique RS wheels are likely.
The interior should be quite similar to that of the GT3 though Porsche will definitely add some more unique RS-specific touches, such as badging. Additional weight-saving measures are expected. Chances are, a full reveal won't happen until sometime next year, not long after the GT3 arrives in dealerships.
