2021 Macan Exterior
Looking at the exterior of the 2021 Porsche Macan SUV is something that we could do for hours. Porsche's designers took the best parts of the Cayenne and the brand's proper sports cars and integrated them into the design of the Macan in a way that doesn't look forced at all. The result is a vehicle that looks stunning even years after its first release. LED headlights with signature four-point DRLs sit in the front of the Macan, with a similar setup employed at the rear. 18-inch wheels are fitted to the base model while the Macan S gets 19s and the GTS starts with 20s. Even bigger 21-inch wheels are also on offer. The base model gets black brake calipers and two single-exit exhaust tips in a faux diffuser, while the Macan S features Titanium calipers with a quad-exit exhaust finished in silver. The top GTS trim gets red calipers and gloss black tailpipes in a more aggressive rear fascia, courtesy of a full SportDesign body kit.

Dimensions
The dimensions of the compact Porsche Macan SUV are visually pleasing, and on paper, you can tell that the measurements are well-proportioned. Length on the Macan and Macan S is 184.9 inches with a wheelbase of 110.5 inches. Width is rated at 76.2 inches with the mirrors folded, while height is 64 inches on the dot. The GTS is slightly different, with a length of 184.5 inches, a wheelbase of 110.6 inches, and a height measurement one inch lower than that of the other two models. Curb weight on the three Macan models is 4,099, 4,293, and 4,370 pounds, respectively.
Although most will never take advantage of the Macan's off-road abilities, these measurements are worth keeping in mind too. With the standard steel suspension fitted to the Macan and its S sibling, the approach angle is 16.9 degrees, departure is 23.6 degrees, and breakover is measured at 16.9. Ground clearance here is eight inches. With the available adaptive air suspension (standard on the GTS), approach, departure, and ramp break-over angles measure 18.5, 25.3, and 18.8 degrees, respectively. Ground clearance can be adjusted from 7.4 to nine inches with the air suspension.

Exterior Colors
As usual, just two plain colors are free, and they're Black and White. If you're willing to spend extra, you can have metallic paint in a choice of Carrara White, Jet Black, Volcano Grey, Dolomite Silver, Sapphire Blue, Night Blue, Mamba Green, or Mahogany. Each of these add $700 to the price of the Porsche Macan, but even more striking shades are on offer as part of the Special Color palette: Carmine Red, Chalk, and Miami Blue ($3,120 each).
