There are four trims in the Porsche Macan lineup: Base, T, S, and GTS. The mechanical specs of the Porsche Macan Base and T are the same - a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine with 261 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. The S and GTS trim levels also share the same engine, but this time it's a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 in either of two states of tune - 375 hp/383 lb-ft in the S and 434 hp/405 lb-ft of torque in the GTS. Regardless of the engine used, every Macan has the same drivetrain configuration - a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Exterior specifications on the base car include 19-inch alloy wheels, automatic adaptive LED headlights, a power liftgate, power-folding mirrors, and keyless entry.
The partial leather seats have cloth centers, the front ones are heated and eight-way electrically adjustable, and the driver gets memory settings. You also get three-zone climate control, a garage-door opener, and an infotainment system with a 10.9-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, a ten-speaker audio system, and wireless Apple CarPlay, but no Macan offers you Android Auto at all. Standard driver assists include adaptive cruise control, front-collision alert with automatic braking, front and rear parking sensors, and lane-departure alert. Additional features cost extra, and lane-keep assist, lane-change assist, and a surround-view monitor are all extra-cost options that have to be ordered separately and are not part of one driver-assistance package.
