15 years ago, the Panamera E-Hybrid Sport Turismo would have been an alien within the Porsche range. As if the high-tech hybrid powertrain isn’t enough, its wagon body style is not the first image that springs to mind when thinking about the maker of some of the world’s best sports cars. But here it is, pairing an electric motor with either a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 (457 hp/516 lb-ft of torque) or a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 (677hp/626 lb-ft). An eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, all-wheel-drive, and an adaptive air suspension are standard.
Both models feature luxurious cabins with dual-zone automatic climate control, ten airbags, cruise control, a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, navigation, and front/rear parking sensors. The Turbo S adds increased adjustment for the front seats, full leather upholstery, heated rear seats, and bigger 21-inch alloy wheels. On both models, you can tack on driver aids like a surround-view camera system, lane keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.
