Retailing at just over $100,000, the base Panamera Sport Turismo is a bit of a letdown. The detuned 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 takes five seconds to get the car to 60 mph, snail-like in the modern world. At the price, it also competes with a bunch of vehicles that are much faster. We like the wagon body, however. The 19-inch wheels fill the arches nicely. Climb inside and you’ll find an interior that is another hit-and-miss situation. A $100k car should not have a partial leather interior, but we do like the 12.3-inch infotainment screen that now has wireless Apple CarPlay. Android phone owners will be happy to learn that the Panamera is finally capable of running Android Auto.
