2023 Panamera Sport Turismo Interior

This is first and foremost a luxury vehicle, and you are immediately reminded of that fact once you step inside the cabin. The interior of the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo might not be the most extravagant, especially when compared to something like a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, but it's luxurious in a demure, German kind of way. You get premium materials, straight cut, no-nonsense lines, and a scattering of modern tech. We appreciate the impeccable build quality, the hint of sportiness, and the added space in the trunk afforded by that wagon body shape. It's not a dramatic space, but it is classy, comfortable, and filled with all the right stuff. Although not laden with features for the price, the Sport Turismo does come standard with heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and dual high-resolution displays in the instrument cluster.

Seating and Interior Space

Porsche advertises the Panamera Sport Turismo as a 4+1-seater, but in reality, the lack of legroom for the middle-seat passenger renders this statement untrue; the Panamera Sport Turismo will only handle four adult passengers, but it will do so in supreme comfort. The front seats in the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo offer ample support, with big side bolsters keeping occupants in place around tight corners. The rear seats also offer good support and should prove to be comfy over long distances. The front seats are heated and offer eight-way power adjustability, and Porsche also offers optional adaptive sport seats with 18-way power adjustability, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and even a massage function for front-seat passengers.

Interior Colors and Materials

A wide variety of interior colors is available for the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo, but unfortunately, most of the nicer options will require an extra charge.

As is to be expected from Porsche, the standard interior color is black, but the base partial-leather seats can also be configured in Agate Grey or Black/Luxor Beige ($390). Full leather options cost between $3,790 and $4,320 and include color options such as Marsala, Saddle Brown, Black/Bordeaux Red, and black/Chalk. Two Club Leather options are on offer: Cohiba Brown and Truffle Brown. Both options cost an additional $5,650. The standard interior trim is Gloss Black, and the door guards feature brushed aluminum inserts.

The interior trim can be painted in the exterior color for an additional $2,160, and it will cost you a stunning $2,040 to paint the air vent slats in the exterior color. The seatbelts can be finished in Bordeaux Red or Chalk for $660, and the tachometer too can change colors for $420. Other trim options include wood and carbon fiber.

For the GTS, a black interior in a combination of leather and Race-Tex upholstery comes as standard. Unique to this model is the GTS Interior Package which adds an enhanced leather/Race-Tex interior in Black/Chalk or Black/Carmine Red for $3,480. However, you can upgrade to the same leather as other trims for GTS-specific prices. Black brushed aluminum trim and a roof lining in Race-Tex are also unique to the GTS.

2023 Panamera Sport Turismo Trunk and Cargo Space

The Porsche Panamera's trunk and overall cargo space have always been rather good, but making the shift to a wagon body style has further improved this aspect of an already impressive car. Pop the rear liftgate, and you'll be met with a generous 18.3 cubic feet of cargo space. That's more than enough for a large grocery run or a weekend away for four. The E-Hybrid has a smaller 14.7 cubes (or 15 cubes for the 4S E-Hybrid).

It is worth noting that traditional wagons such as the Audi RS6 Avant offer significantly more space (30 cubes, to be exact). If you need more cargo space in the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo, the rear seat folds down in a 40/20/40 split, which results in 49 cubic feet of space (45.4 cubes for the 4 E-Hybrid and 45.7 for the 4S E-Hybrid).

Small items can be stored in the slim door pockets, a center armrest storage nook, a glovebox, and a set of cupholders in the front. Another two cupholders can be found at the back.

2023 Panamera Sport Turismo Infotainment and Features

Features

The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is a luxury car through and through, and its features list includes some premium touches. Standard for the 2023 model year is a panoramic roof, two-zone automatic climate control, eight-way power-adjustable and heated front seats, and driver assistance systems such as front and rear ParkAssist, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, comfort access, adaptive cruise control, keyless drive, and a HomeLink programmable garage door opener. The GTS has more luxurious 18-way adaptive front seats with a comfort memory package.

The options list holds the key to a plethora of other features, including massage seats, ambient lighting, soft-close doors, and four-zone automatic climate control.

Infotainment

The Porsche's dashboard features a seamlessly integrated 12.3-inch touchscreen display that houses all the key infotainment elements. Standard for the 2023 model year is wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, a three-month Platinum trial subscription to SiriusXM radio, HD Radio, and a 10-speaker hi-fi sound system with 150 watts of output. This infotainment system isn't the most intuitive, but it gets the job done, and is controlled via voice control, steering wheel inputs, or via the touchscreen. For those who like to party, Porsche offers an even louder Burmester surround-sound audio system at an additional cost.
