Neither the IIHS nor the NHTSA often get cars as expensive as this to throw at walls and smash into SUVs, and the new Porsche Panamera is no exception. As neither agency has subjected the Porsche Panamera to review, there is no crash data available. However, the standard and available safety features impress, and would likely lead to an excellent score from either US agency.

As standard, the base Panamera gets rain-sensing wipers, LED headlights with cornering, front and rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera. Available features are more plentiful and include LED Matrix adaptive headlights, a surround-view camera, lane-change assist, lane-keep assist, predictive and adaptive cruise control systems with traffic jam assist, and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking. A head-up display and a night vision camera can also be had for further peace of mind on the road.

The Porsche Panamera has been free of recalls in the USA since the 2018 model, which was tragically subject to five recalls. However, it seems that all issues have been ironed out since then. J.D. Power is yet to review the Porsche Panamera for a predicted reliability rating.
Along with four years/50,000 miles of paint and limited bumper-to-bumper coverage, 24-hour roadside assistance is offered for the same period too. A 12-year/unlimited mileage corrosion warranty is offered as well, while complimentary scheduled maintenance is covered for one year or 10,000 miles.
