The 4 is essentially the same car as the Base, but with the additional benefit of AWD. The additional traction makes it slightly faster to 60 mph, yet a bit slower at the top end. Adding AWD to the package has no impact on the fuel consumption. There’s no reason to opt for this model unless you live in a cold-weather state that demands all the traction you can get. As on every other Panamera, you’ll have to cough up a lot of extra money if you want features like ventilated front seats and adaptive cruise control.
