The Taycan Cross Turismo is based on the Taycan platform, but it boasts a new wagon body with some off-road bits included. The ride height has been increased by 0.8 inches, and the suspension setup is softer.
Both models are powered by dual electric motors and the rear motor is paired with a two-speed transmission. The 4's electric motors produce 375 hp and 368 lb-ft of torque, while the 4S packs 482 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. In overboost mode, the 4's power increases to 469 hp, and the 4S gets access to 562 hp. Both models use the 93.4 kWh Performance Plus battery.
Driver assistance features include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and front and rear park assist equipped as standard. The interior goodies include dual-zone climate control, eight-way power-adjustable front seats with heating, and a multi-function sport steering wheel. The infotainment package consists of a massive curved digital instrument cluster, a 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and an additional screen for other features. As standard, you get online navigation with 3D maps, voice control, wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, SiriusXM, Bluetooth connectivity, HD Radio, and a 10-speaker sound system.
