The Ram ProMaster City Wagon takes the commercial van formula, shrinks it down into a more manageable package, and adds extra seating options to the back. We don’t expect to see huge changes coming to the line for 2020, but nothing has been confirmed by Ram.
The ProMaster City Wagon is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission. There are a variety of options packages that update the vans for use in different commercial applications. Two delivery packages are available that add racks and other equipment, and there are also plumbing packages, electrician packages, a construction upfit, and more. The van is also front-wheel drive only.
Inside, there’s seating for five people, Uconnect 3 infotainment with a five-inch screen, four-speaker audio, and integrated voice commands.
We don’t have all the details on the new Ram ProMaster’s release date or pricing but expect it to stay close to the $26,395 we saw in 2019. The ProMaster City Wagon competes with the Ford Transit Connect and Nissan NV200.
