With its side windows and more comfortable touring suspension, the Ram ProMaster Window Van is suitable for not only hauling goods like its cargo van counterpart, but can be set up to accommodate passengers as well.
Both the 2500 and 3500 are powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine with peak outputs of 280 hp and 260 lb-ft. Front-wheel-drive and a six-speed automatic transmission are standard. Both the 2500 and 3500 have the same, 159-inch wheelbase along with a high roof, but the 3500 has a longer body to free up greater cargo capacity. 16-inch steel wheels, halogen headlamps, a rearview camera, and manual-folding mirrors are standard features. In the cabin, the ProMaster Window Van rolls out of the factory with seating for just two, with additional seats necessitating a third-party supplier to fit. Manual air-conditioning, a four-speaker audio system, a five-inch touchscreen display, and a 12-volt auxiliary power outlet are further standard features. Unlike the similar cargo van, the window van trades the medium- or heavy-duty suspensions for a touring suspension.
