The Subaru Ascent’s base trim is everything but basic, but it does lose out on some comfort features such as electric front seat adjustment or memory functions. The seats are upholstered in cloth, but it does have most of the Subaru EyeSight safety suite features on board, including automatic emergency front braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane-centering assistance. LED headlights and a rear-view camera round off the safety suite, and three-zone climate control will keep you and your passengers cool on the road. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, alongside a large 11.6-inch color display.
