The WRX Premium is powered by the 2.0-liter turbocharged flat-four engine, available with a six-speed manual or optional CVT transmission. It has a decent specification level, including most of the day-to-day niceties. The optional CVT transmission adds Subaru’s EyeSight driver assistance systems, which keeps in mind if safety is a concern. The 18-inch alloys fill the wheel arches nicely, without having too much of an impact on the ride quality. A moonroof isn’t everybody’s cup of tea, but it’s nice to have if a manufacturer adds it free of charge.
