itting atop a simplified electric SUV range is the Model X Performance. Only one trim is offered, but you’ll probably be too distracted by the Model X’s sensational performance to notice. 0-60 mph comes up in only 2.7-seconds in Ludicrous Mode, thanks to a 100 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. An electric range of 305 miles is possible, with a 15-minute charge being enough for 115 miles from a Supercharge charging station.
Among the Model X’s unique design features are falcon-wing rear doors, a self-presenting driver’s door, and a sweeping panoramic windshield with solar tinting. A 17-inch touchscreen infotainment display dominates the cabin, and is connected to a 17-speaker audio system. 12-way power-adjustable and heated front seats, a HEPA filtration system, LED lighting, and keyless entry and start are standard. While seating for five is standard, six-seat and seven-seat configurations are also offered.
