The 2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid is available in three trims, namely the XLE, XSE, and Limited. All three trims utilize a single powertrain configuration, with a 2.5-liter Dynamic Force four-cylinder engine and two electric motors that make a combined 215 horsepower. Power is channeled to the front wheels via an electronically controlled CVT.
Entry to the line-up is the XLE trim, fitted with LED headlights and LED daytime running lights, 17-inch silver-painted alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, an eight-inch Entune 3.0 touch-screen infotainment system, integrated backup camera, heated front seats, push-button start, and Toyota Safety Sense driver assistance features. The XSE adds sport-tuned suspension, smoked LED headlights/daytime running lights, a sport front grille, and 18-inch dark-gray-painted alloy wheels. A power tilt-and-slide moonroof, leatherette-trimmed seats, aluminum interior trim inlays, aluminum pedal covers, paddle shifters, and a frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror complete the exclusive interior look. At the top-end of the range, the Limited trim offers dynamic turn signals, a premium JBL audio 14-speaker sound system, built-in navigation, leather-trimmed heated and ventilated front seats, as well as a ten-inch head-up display. Original wood interior trim and a leather-wrapped steering wheel are standard.
