The XLE AWD adds a standard all-wheel-drive system and an additional electric motor on the back axle. It’s not much more powerful than the single-motor bZ4X but the 0-60 time drops by over half a second. X-Mode with downhill assist control makes this model a little more capable in challenging conditions, although you will lose about 22 miles of range due to the heavier AWD system. Another change is that the AWD is only capable of 100 kW DC charging relative to the entry-level version’s 150 kW maximum.
