The 2021 Toyota Corolla Hybrid is available in a single trim in the USA, which means you don't get much room for choice, but luckily the LE model is relatively well-specced, and most importantly, comes with excellent fuel efficiency. Starting with the power plant, you get a 1.8-liter naturally-aspirated gas engine mated to two electric motors connected to a 1.3 kWh battery. Total power output is a measly 121 hp and 105 lb-ft of torque. A CVT manages power outputs between the engine and the front wheels. LED headlights with DRLs feature on the exterior, as do a black sport mesh front grille, and 15-inch alloy wheels. Cloth seats are manually adjustable, while convenience features like automatic climate control, push-button start, and numerous active driver aids including smart cruise control and pedestrian detection add to the overall value factor. Infotainment is provided by an eight-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM satellite radio.
