Standard safety features for the Corolla are impressive, with 10 airbags, including rear side-impact airbags. It also boasts the upgraded Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which includes forward collision alert with autonomous emergency braking and pedestrian detection. Lane departure warning, lane keep assist, auto high beams, traffic sign recognition, and full-speed radar-guided dynamic cruise control are included too. The suite is bolstered for 2023 with Proactive Driving Assist, which includes obstacle anticipation and deceleration assist. You also get a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines, hill start assist, and tire pressure monitoring. The top trim adds blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
