The LE AWD-e rides on its own unique 15-inch five-spoke alloy wheels with two-tone wheel covers, but is otherwise identically equipped to the LE. The difference comes in the powertrain, where the LE AWD-e gets a rear-axle motor outputting 7 hp and 40 lb-ft, as well as a nickel-metal hydride battery in place of the lithium-ion one on FWD models. While this enables all-weather ability, it comes at the expense of fuel economy, although the LE AWD-e will still achieve 50 mpg on the combined cycle.
