For the new year, the SR has inherited some upgrades from its more expensive kin, as well as standard Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa integration for the seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Toyota’s entire suite of safety features is now standard, in the form of Safety Sense P and Star Safety System. A 2.7-liter four-cylinder is standard, but you can opt to swap out the weaker four-cylinder for a 3.5-liter V6. The SR is available in both the extended cab and double cab body styles, along with two bed options and the choice between 2WD and 4WD.
