The second TRD is the Off-Road, which tells you exactly where its focus lies. It can be hard to tell it apart from the Sport since most of the changes are beneath the surface. However, it does revert to smaller 16-inch alloy wheels. While this does help it on rough terrain, it needs more, which is why it gets Bilstein shocks and a TRD-specific off-road suspension. The electronic locking rear differential significantly improves handling on uneven terrain, while active traction control keeps it surefooted. Lastly, it receives a Multi-terrain Select system if you spec on the 4x4 drivetrain.
