When the Limited wants to get dirty, it shifts to the TRD Pro. Again, smaller 16-inch wheels make it easier to handle uneven terrain. But, just to be safe, the Pro also gets TRD-tuned Fox internal-bypass shocks and springs. A lot changes aesthetically, too, so that you can’t mistake the TRD Pro for anything but the priciest trim. It receives a Toyota heritage grille and a bespoke TRD Pro skid plate, exhaust, and hood scoop. In terms of configurations, the Pro is only offered with the Double Cab and 4x4 drivetrain, although it does get access to a six-speed manual gearbox, a transmission which is also shared with other TRD variants.
