The second TRD is the Off-Road, which tells you exactly where its focus lies. It can be hard to tell it apart from the Sport since most of the changes are beneath the surface. However, it does revert to smaller 16-inch alloy wheels and it loses the Sport's hood scoop. While the smaller wheels and fatter tires help its performance on rough terrain, it needs more, which is why Bilstein shocks and a TRD-specific off-road suspension are added as well. The electronic locking rear differential significantly improves handling on uneven terrain, while active traction control keeps it surefooted. Lastly, it receives a Multi-terrain Select system if you spec on the 4x4 drivetrain. Once again, only the automatic gets dual-zone climate control and push-button start, as well as Crawl Control with Multi-Terrain Select.
