The base SR Toyota Tundra spec is quite sparse. The 3.4-liter engine is detuned to 348 hp and 405 lb-ft, and SR and SR5 trims have a smaller 22.5-gallon gas tank (SR5 Convenience Package receives a larger tank). The SR offers one-touch up/down power windows, keyless entry with push-button start, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, single-zone climate control, and cloth upholstery as standard, but the front seats are four-way manually adjustable and the steering wheel is urethane and has manual tilt/telescoping adjustment. There is an eight-inch touchscreen with wireless phone mirroring, SiriusXM, and a six- or nine-speaker audio system, depending on cab. Safety features are comprehensive even at this base level, with pre-collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, auto high beams, and lane-departure warning among its standard safety kit.
