There are two trims in the VinFast VF 9 range: the Eco and the Plus. Despite their names, they both get the same dual-motor setup and identical specs of 402 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is standard, too, along with a single-speed automatic transmission. The 123-kWh battery will see the three-row SUV travel for up to 330 miles on a full charge in Eco trim and only 291 miles on the Plus.
Specifications from the base model include 20-inch alloy wheels, LED exterior lights, and a power-operated hands-free tailgate. The interior is well-appointed with dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable first- and second-row seats, ambient lighting, keyless entry, and a 15.6-inch touchscreen. This grants access to Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, video streaming, and Wi-Fi, all channeled through a 13-speaker sound system. Driver assists are extensive, such as forward collision avoidance, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic assist, and various automated systems that let you park or summon the car.
No packages or options have been announced, but moving to the upper trim level gets you tri-zone climate control, a panoramic glass roof, additional directions of adjustment for all the seats, massage functions for the front two rows, and an eight-inch rear infotainment screen.
