You first get the option to swap out engines with the SE Tech trim. The V6 provides only a modest boost in outputs, but the increase in towing capacity is substantial. To further enhance this capability, a trailer hitch is installed. This engine can be paired with either a front- or all-wheel drivetrain if you need to deal with slippery or snow-covered roads. That being said, the Atlas Cross Sport is not an off-road-focused vehicle. Of course, the naturally-aspirated V6 comes at a cost to fuel economy.
