Volkswagen’s hardcore R performance range has been around for two decades, and in order to celebrate this anniversary, the company has decided to offer a special edition of the feisty Golf R. This special edition does not come with any performance-enhancing features, and you still get the standard 315 horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine and razor-sharp seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (with the optional six-speed manual still available). The exterior of the 20th Anniversary Edition gets Glossy Black 19-inch wheels wrapped in summer times, unique badging, a black-painted roof, and signature 20th Anniversary Edition puddle projection lighting. The interior gets special carbon fiber trim and a blue steering wheel R logo badge.
