Modern wagons are a far cry from what they once were, and whether this is a good or bad thing is entirely in the eye of the beholder. Fans of classic wagons will miss the large chunky body that has now been replaced with a sleek and sexy figure that is essentially just a longer sporty sedan. The exterior of the Volvo V60 Recharge boasts stylish Thor's Hammer LED headlights in the front, on either side of a modest grille. There are air intakes in the lower bumper, but the frontal fascia is otherwise quite reserved. At the rear are L-shaped LED taillights running up the sides, with a set of dual tailpipes embedded within the bumper. A panoramic sunroof and power liftgate are both standard, and a set of 19-inch alloy wheels reside within the arches.
The dimensions of the Volvo V60 Recharge, like any wagon, are slightly stretched in comparison to the sedan on which it is based. A length of 188.1 inches and a 113.1-inch wheelbase give rise to a spacious cabin, while the width of 80.3 inches, including mirrors helps it fit into most parking spots. The Volvo wagon stands at a height of 56.6 inches.
Thanks to all the electronic wizardry involved in the hybrid setup, the V60 Recharge has a hefty curb weight of over 4,500 pounds.

Available only in the Polestar guise, the Volvo V60 Recharge has limited exterior colors from which to choose - and we do mean limited. These comprise just four neutral shades, namely Black Stone, Thunder Grey, Silver Dawn, and Crystal White. Only Black Stone is free; the rest cost $695 extra. Gold brake calipers identify the Polestar Engineered V60.
With so few to choose from, you can't really go wrong. That said, Thunder Grey is very eye-catching on the stylish wagon.
