The lineup for 2020 Volvo XC60 Hybrid consists of four trims, the Momentum, R-Design, Inscription, and new Polestar Engineered model. All models are fitted with the T8 powertrain that makes use of a twin-charged 2.0-liter engine and electric motor setup, making 400 hp and 472 lb-ft of torque in the bottom three trims, and 415 hp with 494 lb-ft in the Polestar model. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four corners.
From the entry point to the range, a panoramic roof, LED lights and 18-inch wheels are standard - this moves through 19-inch items to 21-inch alloys on the top-spec trim. Dual-zone climate control is standard, moving to four-zone coverage on mid-level models, while a park assist camera, a rearview monitor, front and rear collision mitigation, cruise control and lane keep assist, are factory fitted. The R-Design and Inscription adds blind spot information systems, and the Polestar Engineered trim sweetens the deal with a graphical head-up display, adaptive cruise control, Pilot Assist, and a surround-view camera as additions to a firmer chassis with Ohlins adjustable dampers.
