Much like the T6 Momentum, the T6 upgrade to the R-Design trim doesn’t make many changes to the standard R-Design features list. Since the sportier model comes with larger 20-inch alloy wheels, it suffers more from the poor ride quality delivered by the stronger T6 powertrain. As such, it could certainly benefit from the available air suspension. While not a true performance vehicle, the T6 R-Design is the most athletic of the Volvo XC90 range. Safety and driver enjoyment can both be improved by adding the Advanced Package, which sees the addition of additional parking assist features, a surround-view camera, and a nifty head-up display.
