The ultimate showdown of stock versus modified cars, eBay Motors' Between 2 Rides, is back for a second season, and we've got the first episode for you right here, 24 hours before you'll see it anywhere else. In the first episode, host Emelia Hartford is joined by YouTuber and professional driver Cleetus McFarland and his C5 Corvette, Donnie the Drift Car, as he tries to tackle the world's fastest drive-through at Willow Springs Racetrack.

Not only do we get to see Cleetus drift a stock C5 to compare how it fares with his heavily modified one, but the stakes are raised with a crazy competition that sees competitive eating champion Nick Wehry sit alongside him, trying to grab and eat as much fast food as he can while Cleetus goes full-send.

We won't spoil it for you, but you can watch the full first episode below.

Episode 1 strongly indicates what to expect from the rest of Season 2, in which we are promised higher stakes and crazier stunts than we saw the first time around. But what hasn't changed is the commitment to showcasing the best builds and the potential for amateur builders through platforms like eBay Motors.

A full five episodes of this insanity will form part of Season 2, with famous car personalities including TJ Hunt, Hailie Deegan, CBoysTV, That Dude In Blue, and Gears & Gasoline. The challenges that await them are nothing short of extraordinary, as they will be challenged by skydivers, attacking drones, monster trucks, and more.

It's all presented by Emelia Hartford, who, for Season 2, makes the switch from a competitor to the presenter. Emelia knows a thing or two about crazy builds, with a record-setting twin-turbo C8 Corvette to her name that last season raced against a helicopter - something Hartford tells us was actually her idea.

When asked if she was given forewarning on the stunt, Hartford tells us, "That was my idea! We were floating ideas back and forth about what we could race, and I'm really into aviation, and I was like, 'I want to race a helicopter!' and they were like, 'alright, let's make it happen.'"

That tells you a lot about Between 2 Rides in that the production team at eBay Motors is willing to go all out to showcase what these modified rides can do in the most exciting ways possible.

That was one of the stipulations from Hartford when she was brought in as host. "I was so flattered when they asked me to come back as a host ... and I told them I'm down to do this, but we have to do this bigger and badder than anything you guys have done before."

According to Hartford, the producers simply answered "yes" to that, and from what we've seen of Season 2 so far, it lives up to that promise.

In Episode 1 alone, Hartford tells us how crazy filming was. On a cold day with ice-cold milkshakes, grabbing one by hand hurt enough. "I don't passenger very well, so it was nauseating for me," she says after riding shotgun in the stock C5 Corvette, "but the milkshakes, by the time we went out and did it, you'd reach out to grab it, and it felt like a brick hitting your hand." So you can imagine how much it must've hurt when as Emelia puts it, Nick Wehry "takes a milkshake to the face. Straight to the dome."

Beyond the insanity of the world's fastest drive-through, Emelia says there's more to come. When asked which car or episode she thinks we should look forward to the most, we're told to wait for the CBoys' episode, which even made her reconsider her background in drifting and drag racing to pursue a monster truck-style build with something crazy like a Toyota Prius or even a C8 Corvette.

After the craziness of the first episode, we can't wait to see what comes next, not just from Season 2 but the inevitable third. Emelia even hints that she'd love to build something special just for the show. Maybe a Monster Corvette might be in the cards after all - if Lamborghini can build the Huracan Sterrato, why shouldn't we have a dirt-munching Corvette?

New episodes will air on the eBay Motors YouTube channel at 9AM PT every second Wednesday.
