Every year the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) crash tests new cars, trucks, and SUVs in order to help provide you, the consumer, with the best possible safety information. Which new vehicles managed to score a superior rating for 2016 in frontal crash safety? The IIHS "rates vehicles as basic, advanced or superior for front crash prevention depending on whether they offer autobrake and, if so, how effective it is in tests at 12 and 25 mph."
