Some people want their car to look good. Others want nothing more than raw power. Harry Fisher, the focus of this week's Big Muscle, was more concerned with all round drivability when modifying his 1955 Buick Special. That means having comfortable sofa-like chairs, decent brakes, and a reliable transmission. But Harry is a hot-rod car guy, so he also fitted a 8.2-liter (502 cuin) Chevy Big Block, which he picked up from someone that had tweaked it to 600 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.

A new set of wheels and modern suspension with period correct interior finished off the job the nicely.
