Baja Bugs, Beetles and buses gathered in Boston for a day of VW lovin'.
Over the weekend, the Larz Anderson Auto Museum held a VW Day, and these images courtesy of Josh Sweeney reveal that it was a wonderful turnout. Examples of the "people's car" included hippie vans, 21-window buses, Baja Bugs, and tuned GTI's but the car that garnered the most attention was the VW Beetle. There were some superb examples of the Bug on display, with the mango green 1960 Beetle receiving the coveted Car of the Show award. First aid was also readily available to treat the large amount of punch bug games that took place.
