Remember RWD? It used to be the norm.
The impact of the Audi Sport Quattro on rallying was so great that it might sometimes seem as though rallying is basically impossible without all-wheel-drive. And even though Top Gear did a whole special dedicated to the idea that you don’t need AWD to drive on dirt, you don't see RWD rally cars that much anymore. But here’s a car which is not only RWD, but also not something which was generally considered particularly sporty.
You won’t see the host particularly thrashing the old Falcon, since it isn’t his, but keep in mind the car has enjoyed quite a bit of success.
