1964 Jaguar E-Type Lightweight Like a Fine Wine

Classic Cars

It just gets better with age.

Look at the Jaguar E-Type and you’re seeing perfection. One of the most beautiful cars ever made, the E-Type has a loyal fan base and owners who spend ridiculous amounts of money to keep their cars up and running - and sometimes racing. Such is the case for Jason Len, a longtime Jaguar enthusiast who’s also made an appearance on Jay Leno’s Garage. He’s the proud owner of this stunning 1964 Jaguar E-Type Lightweight.

It’s been a part of his personal garage for 30 years, but Len points out that as he gets older and slower, his car is only getting faster. And the Jag just doesn’t sit around; Len takes it vintage racing on a regular basis. Over the decades, he’s modified it but refuses to give away its mechanical secrets.
