1965 Plymouth Crashes at 150 MPH: Driver Survives

Crash

Ending to this joyride wasn't so fun for the auto thief. But at least he survived.

Looking at these images it’s hard to believe anyone survived this horror crash. In 2012, a restoration shop in Arcadia, California, was broken into and a recently restored 1965 Plytmouth was stolen. The joyride ended after the car crashed into a tree at 150 mph, and these images – released by the local police department – show the severity of the impact. Hot Rod magazine says the douchebag thief survived, but we’re not sure how badly injured he was. Fair to say, it was probably more than a scratch.
