A 1966 Chevy Chevelle has been given a new V8 but retains its classic styling.
You could buy a classic car like a Chevy Malibu Chevelle and restore it to its original glory. Or you could make it your own by throwing in a mix of old and new styling. Powered by an LS3 V8 with 600 or so horsepower, the Chevelle’s owner began fixing it up back in 2008. But instead of going for the pure vintage look, he decided that something more personal was required. The result is a wonderful combination of the Chevelle’s classic good looks combined with fully modern mechanicals.
From the looks of it inside and out, the car doesn’t look all that different from stock, but a closer examination will reveal the fine details. And yes, the thing looks and sounds absolutely magnificent.
