2011 BMW X3 Recalled

BMW has recently recalled their 2011 X3. The reason for the recall was a faulty power steering system that could go out at any time.

Well this certainly didn't take long. BMW recently recalled the brand-new X3. The recall is primarily due to power steering issues. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a control module in the car's electric power steering may malfunction resulting in a loss of the power steering. Though it is still possible to operate the crossover without power steering assistance, it does increase the likelihood of a crash. Apparently only 50 vehicles are affected by the recall.

The vehicles in question are those produced between April 27, 2011 and June 8, 2011. The potentially serious problem will be fixed free of charge at BMW dealers.
